The Heart Behind Aurelia

Faith Alexander, BSN, RN

PALS, ACLS, BLS Certified

Faith began her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Saint Alphonsus before earning her Registered Nurse license in 2019. Since then, she has built her career caring for patients across a wide range of settings, gaining experience that now serves as the foundation of Aurelia.

She first worked as a Telemetry Nurse before advancing to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), where she cared for some of the hospital's most critically ill patients. In this fast-paced environment, Faith specialized in caring for patients recovering from complex cardiac and vascular surgeries, closely monitoring for complications, managing vasoactive medications, interpreting advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and responding quickly when changes occurred. This experience gave her an exceptional understanding of the recovery process and the confidence to recognize subtle changes before they became serious concerns.

Today, Faith cares for medically complex children throughout the Treasure Valley in both home care settings and within the Boise School District. She also works with the St. Luke's Hospital at Home program, helping deliver hospital-level care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Her diverse clinical background includes caring for adults recovering from surgery, individuals managing chronic medical conditions, and children with complex medical needs. Her experience includes medication management, post-operative assessments, patient and family education, tracheostomy and feeding tube care, ventilator support, seizure management, assisting with medical equipment, reinforcing physician instructions, and promoting safe recovery and independence at home.

Aurelia was founded on Faith's belief that exceptional care is personal. Whether supporting clients through surgical recovery, welcoming guests into an Aurelia home, or helping families navigate healthcare decisions, she is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care with professionalism and integrity.

Her mission is simple: to help every client feel safe, supported, and cared for—just like family.
